提起英国科学家爱迪生，大家一定不会感到陌生吧，他是世界闻名的发明大王，他一生的发明有一千多种，我的理想就是成为一个像爱迪生一样的大发明家。
When it comes to English scientist Edison, you will not be unfamiliar with him. He is a world-famous invention King. He has more than 1000 inventions in his life. My ideal is to become a great inventor like Edison.
记得在三年级的课本中，我们就看到爱迪生为了搞发明差点弄瞎了眼睛，被列车长打聋了一只耳朵，还被硫酸烧毁了一件衣服。但是，他钻研科学的决心没有动摇，正是这种顽强的精神、坚持不懈的努力和对待学习的态度，使爱迪生成为了一个伟大的发明家。
I remember in the third grade textbook, we saw that Edison nearly blinded his eyes in order to invent. He was beaten deaf by the conductor in one ear and burned a garment by sulfuric acid. However, his determination to study science did not waver. It was this indomitable spirit, unremitting efforts and attitude towards learning that made Edison a great inventor.
我想，自己真的要想成为像爱迪生一样的发明家也要发扬他的不怕困难，顽强拼搏的精神，为此，我想做到四个字：勤、恒、勇、思。“勤”就是勤奋，古今中外，凡是有作为的人无一不是勤奋努力的结果。“恒”就是恒心，有恒心才可望有成就。“勇”是在学习遇到困难时，要有勇于克服困难的决心。“思”同样重要，学习永远是和思索结合在一起的，而今天的“思索”还要敢于幻想，只有张开幻想的翅膀，发明创造才可能成为现实。
I think that if I really want to be an inventor like Edison, I also need to carry forward his spirit of fearing no difficulties and fighting hard. For this reason, I want to do four words: diligence, perseverance, courage and thinking. "Diligence" is diligence. All the people who have made great achievements are the result of diligence. "Constancy" is perseverance. Only perseverance can lead to success. Courage is the determination to overcome difficulties in learning. "Thinking" is equally important. Learning is always combined with thinking. Today's "thinking" needs to dare to imagine. Only by opening the wings of fantasy can invention and creation become a reality.
