[L. bonā fidē = ‘with good faith’. Commonly anglicized in pronunciation as (ˈbəʊnə ˈfaɪdɪ), though classical scholars sometimes preserve the Latin quantity of the vowels, with or without the Latin vowel sounds.]
A. adv. In good faith, with sincerity; genuinely.
