[perh. a. F. cacographie (16th c.), or ad. med. Gr. κακο-γραϕία = bad writing. The analogous ὀρθογραϕία orthography, καλλιγραϕία calligraphy, and some of their derivatives, were used in classical Greek.]
1. Bad writing; bad handwriting. (Opposed to calligraphy).
