Datism rare.|ˈdeɪtɪz(ə)m| [ad. Gr. Δᾱτισµός ‘a speaking like Datis (the Median commander at Marathon), i.e. speaking broken Greek’ (Liddell & Scott).] Broken or barbarous speech; a fault in speaking such as would be made by one not fully acquainted with the language.
