Consisting of two parts or divisions: spec. a. Entom. Having two joints: applied to the tarsus of an insect. b. Bot. Of a flower: Having two divisions or members in each whorl. (Often written 2-merous.) Of a leaf: Consisting of two leaflets (rare).
