ˈgang-days Obs. exc. Hist. [f. gang n.1 + day; so called from the processions held on these days. ON. gangdagar, OSw. gangdaghar are perh. from OE.] The three days preceding Ascension-day or Holy Thursday; also called Rogation-days.
