今天，我和外公到超市购物。超市里购物的人川流不息，购物的男女老少都提着大包的商品，有的买补品老白金送亲朋好友、还有的年青人买电器空调准备结婚、还有的买日用品、衣服等。人们的生活真好。好像芝麻开花节节高，过上了小康的生活，每个人都高高兴兴走进走出，显得生活十分愉快。可是，当我想起外公曾跟我说过以前中国人民在解放前的生活是多么的痛苦，人民生活在水深火热之中，过着饥寒交迫穿得衣衫褴褛苦难的生活，想想和现在相比简直相差十万八千里。
