据介绍，黄龙风景区位于四川省松潘县境内，岷山主峰雪宝顶脚下，主要因佛门名刹黄龙寺而得名。它是一条长约7公里，宽约300米的钙化山峡，周围环绕着林木，幽幽的原始森林，山峡中3400多个天然玉成的华泉彩池顺坡而下，大者亩余，小者如盆、如碗、如杯，池壁似黄玉砌成，玲珑剔透，一派富丽。池水五彩缤纷，变化万千又都清澈透明，泌人心脾。从空中俯瞰，在莽莽原始森林中，黄龙如一条凌空腾飞的巨龙，那层层彩池就像巨龙身上的片片鳞甲，映衬着雪白的卧峰，苍翠的森林和满天的云霞，五彩斑斓，如梦如幻，极为瑰丽相传黄龙真人在此修炼成仙，故此山此水有此仙风道骨，黄龙县大禹治水，功成在此留连，方有运琼浆满溢，漾红荡绿的瑶池美景。这里以彩池、滩流、雪山、峡谷、古寺、民俗“六绝”着称于世。被誉为“圣地仙境，人间瑶池”。
According to reports, Huanglong scenic spot is located in Songpan County, Sichuan Province, at the foot of Xuebaoding, the main peak of Minshan Mountain. 黄龙古寺，始建于明代。位置在黄龙沟景区，占地千余平方米，属道教观宇。相传助大禹治水的东海黄龙功成身退修道成仙，成为黄龙真人。其身化作十里金沙，其麟化作千座彩池。后人记其功德，建黄龙寺。黄龙寺有罗汉堂、中寺、后寺、禹王庙等，现罗汉堂已成废墟。中寺是佛教寺庙，而且各主要景点都有佛教信徒朝拜，后寺主供黄龙真人，后寺下的溶洞——黄龙洞有天然钙化黄龙真人座像。黄龙古寺是一所道教观宇，黄龙沟内随处可见道家文化的痕迹。“黄龙洞”洞口，有一棵龙形松树上经常挂满洁白的哈达，那是当地藏族同胞为神秘的黄龙洞敬献的供品，洞口还有几处“玛尼堆”，青色的石块上镌刻着藏传佛教的经文，在一个道家高人修行的地方见到众多佛教信徒虔诚地叩拜，是“中国民间宗教文化儒、释、道互补”的典型代表，不能不说是一个奇迹。

In a place where Taoist high people practice, many Buddhist believers worship devoutly.
