My Diary (六年级)
Monday, September 10th
Today was the first day of school after the summer break. I woke up early in the morning, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. I quickly got dressed and had a hearty breakfast to give me energy for the day ahead. As I entered the school gates, I saw my friends and we exchanged stories about our summer adventures.
In the first class, our teacher, Miss Johnson, welcomed us back and introduced the new subjects we would be learning this year. I was particularly excited about Science and Art. We also received our new textbooks and notebooks, and I made sure to label them properly.
During the break, I played with my friends on the playground. We laughed, chased each other, and enjoyed the fresh air. It felt great to be reunited with my friends again after the long summer break.
In the afternoon, we had a Math class. We practiced solving equations and learned some new formulas. Math has always been a challenge for me, but I am determined to work hard and improve this year.
After school, I went to my English tutoring class. My tutor, Mr. Smith, assigned us some reading exercises and vocabulary practice. I find English interesting and want to become fluent in it, so I always do my best in the class.
Tuesday, September 11th
Today, I had a sports class in the morning. We played basketball and had a mini-tournament. I had so much fun competing with my classmates and cheering each other on. Sports classes are my favorite because I love being active and playing different sports.
In the afternoon, we had a History lesson. Our teacher, Mr. Brown, told us about ancient civilizations and showed us pictures of ancient landmarks. I found it fascinating to learn about the past and how civilizations developed over time.
After school, I went to a music class. I have been learning to play the piano for a year now, and I love it. Today, we practiced a new piece and discussed musical notes and rhythms. Music helps me relax and express my emotions. I hope to become a skilled pianist one day.
Wednesday, September 12th
Today, we had a field trip to the local zoo. I couldn't contain my excitement as I boarded the bus with my classmates. We saw various animals like lions, tigers, and elephants. It was amazing to see them up close and learn interesting facts about them. I was mesmerized by the colorful birds and the playful monkeys.
In the afternoon, we had a Geography class. Our teacher, Mrs. Davis, showed us maps and taught us about different countries and their cultures. I have always been interested in exploring different parts of the world and learning about different cultures. This class only fueled my curiosity further.
In the evening, I attended a Chinese calligraphy class. I enjoy practicing the delicate strokes and creating beautiful characters. It is a traditional art form that connects me with my cultural heritage.
Thursday, September 13th
Today, we had a science experiment in the morning. We worked in groups to conduct an experiment on the effects of temperature on plant growth. It was a hands-on experience, and I enjoyed observing and recording the data. Science experiments always make learning fun and exciting.
In the afternoon, we had a Physical Education class. We played different sports like volleyball and badminton. It was a great way to stay active and improve our coordination skills. I had a blast playing with my friends.
In the evening, I had a dance class. Dancing is my passion, and it allows me to express myself creatively. Today, we learned a new routine, and I was thrilled to be challenged.
Friday, September 14th
Today, we had an art class in the morning. We experimented with different art techniques and created our own abstract paintings. Art classes are my chance to showcase my creativity and imagination.
In the afternoon, we had a literature class. We read a story and discussed its theme and characters. I love reading and **yzing different stories. It helps me improve my reading comprehension and expands my vocabulary.
In the evening, I had a Chinese language class. We learned new words and practiced writing Chinese characters. Chinese is my mother tongue, and I am proud to continue learning and improving my language skills.
Saturday, September 15th
Today was a day off from school, so I spent the day with my family. We went to the park and had a picnic. We played games, talked, and laughed together. It was a relaxing and enjoyable day.
Sunday, September 16th
Today, I spent time doing my homework and preparing for the upcoming week. I reviewed my notes, practiced piano, and completed my assignments. I believe in being prepared for each day and making the most of my opportunities.
As the week comes to an end, I am grateful for another exciting and fulfilling week of learning and growth. I look forward to the adventures and challenges that lie ahead in the coming weeks.
