My Weekend Activities
Last weekend, I had a very busy and enjoyable time. On Saturday morning, I went to the park with my family. We played frisbee and had a picnic under a big tree. The weather was perfect, with the sun shining and a gentle breeze blowing. I ate delicious sandwiches and fruits, and had a great time ***ting and laughing with my parents and younger sister.
In the afternoon, I had a piano lesson. I have been learning to play the piano for two years and I really enjoy it. My teacher, Mr. Wong, is very patient and kind. He always encourages me to practice and improve my skills. I practiced a new piece of music that I had been working on for a few weeks. Although it was challenging, with Mr. Wong's guidance, I was able to play it well.
On Sunday, I participated in a charity run organized by my school. It was a meaningful event to raise funds for an orphanage. I woke up early in the morning and met my classmates at the starting point. We all wore matching T-shirts with the school logo. The atmosphere was lively, with music playing and participants cheering. As the whistle blew, we started running along the designated route. Although I felt tired at times, seeing the determination on everyone's faces motivated me to keep going. I finished the run with a sense of accomplishment and a smile on my face.
In the afternoon, I went to the library to borrow some books. I love reading and the library is my favorite place to find new books. I spent a few hours browsing through different genres and finally chose a novel and a science book. Reading allows me to explore new worlds, expand my knowledge, and relax. It is my favorite hobby and I try to spend as much time as I can reading.
To end the weekend on a high note, my family and I went to a restaurant for dinner. It was a treat after an active and busy weekend. We ordered our favorite dishes and shared stories about our weekend adventures. It was a perfect way to relax and enjoy each other's company.
In conclusion, my weekend activities were full of fun, learning, and giving back to the community. I am grateful for the opportunities I had and the support of my family and friends. I can't wait for the next weekend to make more memories and experiences.
