A derivative of an isoprene polymer which has the effect on some insects of arresting development at an early (esp. larval) stage and is widely used in insecticidal preparations; propyl 2-(3,7,11-trimethyl-11-methoxydodec-2-4-dien)oate, C19H34O3.
