The name of a town in Ontario used attrib. and ellipt. to designate a type of canoe (orig. built there), made entirely of wood.

The name of a town in eastern England, site of a phase of the Neolithic Age: used to denote the type of civilization of that period, and the materials or people associated with its culture.
