platic, a. Astrol.|ˈplætɪk| [ad. late and med.L. platicus (Firmicus, 4th c.) broad, general, ad. late Gr. πλατυκός, -ικός broad, diffuse, f. πλατύς broad: see -ic.] Of an aspect: Not exact or within a degree, but within half the sum of the ‘orbs’ of the two planets: opp. to partile 2.
