[a. Fr., pa. pple. of pocher to sketch, stencil.]
The method or result of representing the solid part of a building (as a wall, etc.) by a darkened area on an architectural plan; (rare), a pen for doing this. Also transf.

Design xix. 135 Part of this desired effect is to give an idea of the third dimension as well as the floor area, for instance making thicker the points of poché that support big rooms, as we shall see later. 1946T.
