post-ˈdam, v. Dentistry.
[f. posterior a. and n. + dam n.1]
trans. and absol. To construct a ridge along the upper posterior border of a palatal denture, which will press against the soft palate and form a seal. So post-ˈdamming vbl. n., the construction of such a ridge.
