1. Geol. Exhibiting, or of, pseudostratification (see pseudo- 2.)

2. Histology. Applied to epithelium composed of a single layer of columnar cells each in contact with the basal lamina but whose nuclei are at varying distances from it, so that they give the appearance of several layers of cells.
