[a. Skr. rāgamālā, used in Indian music to denote a series of (usu. 36) ragas, each of which expresses a specific mood or sentiment, f. rāga raga n. + mālā necklace, garland.]
A series of miniature paintings based on situations and vernacular poems inspired by the ragas.
