A bluish or grey lead antimony sulphide occurring as slender prismatic crystals and fibrous or compact masses.
1952L. G. Berry et al. in Amer. Mineralogist XXXVII. 438 The powder pattern obtained by Professor Peacock was found to be identical with one of several unidentified patterns obtained by Dr. S. C. Robinson at Queen's University during his investigation of the synthesis of lead antimony sulphides... The name robinsonite is given to this new mineral in honor of Dr. Robinson, whose synthesis made its identification possible.
