Talbotype, n.|ˈtɔːlbətaɪp| Also Talbot-type. [f. Talbot (see prec.) + type n.] The process of photographing on sensitized paper, patented by W. H. Fox Talbot in 1841: = calotype; also, a picture produced by this process.
