‖ tsurikomi, n. Judo.|tsuriˈkomi| Also tsuri-komi. [Jap., f. tsuri lifting + komi inwards, towards oneself.] The technique of lifting and pulling one's opponent off balance during a throw. Usu. in Comb., as tsurikomi-ashi [ashi foot], a throw executed with a sweep of the foot; tsurikomi-goshi [goshi hip, loin], a variety of hip-throw.
