An ultramafic intrusive igneous rock composed essentially of orthorhombic and monoclinic pyroxenes.

Geologist VI. 44 The specimens obtained by Mr. Merrill from Webster are such admirable representatives of the bronzite-diopside rocks that the name Websterite is suggested..for them; and there seems to be no impropriety in extending this term over all the massive intrusives which are composed entirely of monoclinic and orthorhombic pyroxene. 1978S.
