Whitlock (1868–1948), U.S. mineralogist + -ite1.] A calcium hydrogen phosphate containing ferrous iron and magnesium, Ca9(Mg,Fe)H(PO4)7, found as transparent or translucent rhombohedral crystals of various colours and often occurring in dental calculi.
